Paradise for the New Human
Embracing Conflict & Evolution as an Ecosystem

The wondrous thing about creating an entire large-scale ecovillage vision is that it’s like creating a world — a universe within a universe. You create a potent container for everything to play out according to the experience your creator self is manifesting for you.
No matter how deeply its cocreators may be motivated by the intention to ‘simply’ regenerate the land, restore ecosystems, serve Mother Earth with abundant food systems, and build a beautiful place for people to live and thrive in, our creator selves always have a more profound agenda: to heal and become whole within our own selves and self-expression.
Never ever has a project like this, despite a core part of the vision being about serving nature, avoided the work of the relational dimension. This is always the deeper plan of the universe, because they are inescapably interconnected. We cannot create outer wholeness from inner separation, outer beauty from inner chaos.
Within a community ecosystem we will always find karmic or dharmic matches with whom to play key roles for/with us — souls that say yes to helping us to find our inner truth, from the places where we are not yet free.
To be human is to be somewhat crazy — as quantum beings no two people are having the same experience, and any understanding or sense of shared reality is a gift, not a given.
Even a simple conversation is rarely just a simple conversation. It is whole ecosystem of energetic exchange, overflowing with story, projections and programming.
In modern lives we can easily hide from this, isolating ourselves in cities of concrete boxes where people instead become disconnected and depressed. Or we ascend above the earthly realm to be one with Source in ashrams or other sacred places, saying a quiet, elegant, ‘fuck this’ to the messiness of human relationships.
But the invitation from life herself at this time is not to escape, but to dive right into the core of it and reclaim the blueprint, redefine what it means, reimagine its beauty. Become new humans— with each other. Only then will we create a ‘New Earth.’
There is vast, untapped joy and enlivenment to be found if we dare look deep enough and commit to the actions together.

Reaching for the North Star
One way this is going to manifest at Neos is through the north star of our five cultural principles, the New Earth Ways. It is through tuning in to deeper truth, finding reverence for life energy, becoming embodied in ourselves, respecting the natural cycles of life, and bringing our gifts to the world that we will uncover a more beautiful way to live together:
Consciousness, of being present and tuned into the quantum intelligence operating through, around, and for us at all times.
Sacredness, for all of life in all her diverse forms. Through gratitude and respect we find reverence and honour, leading us to nobility and sacred relationship.
Embodiment, of our authentic unique blueprint, our divinely given self-design, fully realised and expressed through all we are and do.
Balance, of the multiple forces within us that ebb and flow in perfect natural rhythm. The unity of feminine with masculine, light with dark.
Creation, of our Dharmic gifts arising out of pure inspiration to contribute more beauty, more harmony and elevation in the world.

These principles are based on the wisdom inherent in the laws of nature and quantum intelligence. They are our path to wholeness and joy, crystallised as five petals of wisdom on the flower of the new creation being birthed through us.
Together we cultivate them through the process of self-enquiry and supportive practices.
— This is the core of what we will explore in the Awaken: Neos Experience Retreat this March and April (and again later in the year).
— If you are considering joining the experience next week, we currently have just a few PLACES LEFT!
Become Skilled with Conflict Dynamics
This April 18-19th you also can join us for a transformative weekend of connective communication and conflict resolution training with Donal Gannon.
The possession of these skills has immense value — whether for conflict in your personal relationships or in your workplace; practices like this should be as familiar to us brushing our teeth everyday.
There are limited places available, at very affordable prices, so please get in touch asap. Accommodation and food are booked directly with us, so you can choose whether to stay 1-3 nights.
Saturday April 18th, 10-5pm: A Language of Life
Key questions: What’s alive in us? How can we make life more wonderful? How can we truly take self-responsibility rather than fall into victimhood and blame?
Observations vs. evaluations: Make clear non-evaluative observations, rather than interpret what’s going on through our own personal lens.
The heart of the matter: Distinguish our universal feelings and needs from thoughts, interpretations and strategies.
Thoughts disguised as feelings: Recognize ‘faux feelings’ (like “I feel betrayed” or “unsupported”) and uncover the deeper needs and more vulnerable feelings behind them.
Needs, strategies & requests: Understand how they relate and differ, and how this clarity can prevent or dissolve conflict.
Self-connection: Various approaches, in particular ‘self-empathy’, and how we can dance it!
Requests vs. demands: Make requests that give others a real choice, bringing connection instead of resistance.
Sunday April 19th, 10-5pm: Speak Your Truth!
Intentional communication: How to align your words with your true intentions.
The paradox of vulnerability: Why we crave others’ openness but resist revealing our own, and how to bridge this gap.
The power of authenticity: How showing up authentically creates space for growth and connection. Learn to shift from fear to courage when expressing yourself.
Foundations of honest expression: Skills in expressing each of the four components of NVC—observation, feeling, need and request
Balancing transparency and care: Ways to honour your truth while cultivating trust and safety
Awareness of protective mechanisms: How perfectionism, numbing or avoidance might be shielding you from deeper connection—and how to gently overcome these patterns.
Key distinctions: How to distinguish between judgment-based “honesty” and authentic self-expression grounded in feelings and needs.
Creating abundant food forests
We’d love to complete this newsletter on creating healthy social ecosystems with some exciting news: our vision for food forest gardens is beginning to come alive.
What started as drawings, conversations, and dreams is now slowly becoming a living landscape that will nourish both people and the land for generations to come.
Our vegetable garden is beginning to thrive, quietly reminding us of the beauty of simple cycles and giving loving attention — planting, tending, harvesting.
Soon, we’ll also begin developing a sensorial meditation fruit garden — a place to invite presence and a deeper relationship with nature — with a rich variety of species, including goji berry, currant and blueberry bushes, apricot, raspberry, carob, mango, passionfruit vines, pear nachi, and clementine. Alongside these, we’ll plant supportive species such as tagasaste, and buddleias to help regenerate soil, support pollinators, and strengthen the ecosystem as a whole.
In the coming planting cycles, we will be creating a forest of edible trees along the river to enrich biodiversity, restore ecological balance, and create a more abundant and diverse landscape. Over time, this area will become a thriving corridor of life — providing habitat, shade, nourishment, and beauty.
For now we started with willow and poplar cuttings along the river edge, gifted by our syntropic friend Marc Leiber, who lives in a nearby farm.

Each tree and plant is a quiet act of faith in the future — a step toward a landscape that feeds, heals, and supports life in many forms. As these gardens grow, they will become spaces for learning, nourishment, gathering, and reflection — living examples of what becomes possible when we work in partnership with life.

It’s a beautiful reminder that regeneration happens step by step, season by season, through care, patience, and vision.
With love from all of us here.
Hope to see you soon!
