Dear 4,292 strong Community,

We are faced with losing the neos·life land next week.

Over the past year, we have developed the project as if we had certainty, because there was a constant carrot hanging over us in the form of investors and loans (even this past week we thought we found the most aligned investor yet), and because our commitment was all in.

Yet we are now at the end, and this really is the end this time — the sellers have a competing buyer with whom they’re ready to hit the green light if we don’t provide a significant downpayment next week and a clear road to completion.

Why hasn’t it happened yet?

There are a million stories we can tell as to why. And no doubt people will conjure their favourite stories, but the truth is we just don’t know. There are a million reasons why it ‘should’ have happened so far too.

The easiest explanation is that this is a huge and special vision, one that despite obvious real estate upside, requires a similar purity and vastness of vision for a higher purpose.

We have deep respect for the energetics behind things, and when you’re seeking to create something at a new or higher level of energy than is familiar, it is common that you will meet a lot of resistance.

We experienced again and again that people didn't quite understand what we’re doing. Whilst to us it is simple, beautiful, and nothing could be more important in the world, for others it just doesn’t fit into a box they are comfortable with.

neos·life is a frequency. Frequency attracts like frequency — there’s nothing to judge here, for everyone is most at home in a different dimensional band.

But like the saying goes, ‘rejection is God’s protection’ — we’re not meant to be another soulless luxury “eco” housing development. We don't want to keep the project small. We don't want to conform to a specific ideology.

neos·life is a global model for a future we want to live in.

On three occasions we backed away from a deal as we sensed a scam or unethical money source at work.

Yet all of this is to blame external forces and we’d rather not do that. We’d rather stay in the embodiment of neos·life and be ok with the void of uncertainty, and celebrate everything that we’ve learned along the journey — which is A LOT (we will be sharing in future newsletters).

Yet where does this leave the beautiful offering to the world that is neos·life?

We are open to all suggestions and ideas, for example, someone else could acquire the land for the remaining €3M (at €0.75/m2) and allow 12-18 months of exploration together. After which if you want to be bought out we will have raised funds through EU grants, bank, community etc, otherwise you can sell at a profit. The land as is is worth at least €4.4M — as per three independent valuation reports.

Last week we drafted a newsletter to the community with a proposal to buy a homesite and become collective co-owners of the southern residential land, yet didn’t send it out because we knew that — quite rightly — people want precise clarity on all manner of things, that we cannot provide. Right now, we are against the wall and exhausted. If any of you feels the impulse to help, to invest, to partner and make it happen in any way, then we invite you to get in touch ASAP - i.e this weekend. We may not have every answer, but we will give everything we have and are open to collaborating and figuring everything out together.

As a last possibility to make it happen, please let us know what you’d be ready to contribute towards a future home at neos·village — secured by the land. If there’s enough commitment, this could be the way of raising the necessary funds together with a lender or someone stepping in with a larger amount that neos·life needs.

But dear community, whilst we do not want to be dramatic, the situation is urgent — if you want to see neos·life happen, you must act now. We literally have this weekend to bring something concrete together!

How can we be so calm?

Are we not outraged, stressed, or grieved? The calm is authentic — we have too much trust in Greater Consciousness to resist what is or isn’t meant to be.

We are receptive for miracles to happen, and still exploring every possibility til the very last moment, yet if it doesn’t happen, the spirit of neos·life will shake itself off and be receptive to what DOES want to happen. We’re excited for and trusting of that.

Right now we feel blessed to be sitting in a beautiful garden filled with the scent of orange blossom and a symphony of birdsong, feeling the warmth of the sun, and know that in hindsight everything will become clear.

This is the magic of what neos·life is actually about — creating a beautiful life within which you cannot be rocked, because you have faced your fears, let go of anything that blocks your true essence, expanded and risen, resilient and victorious in alignment with the higher forces of love and wisdom.
It is beyond a particular structure or village; again it is a frequency — yet wouldn’t a village facilitate and provide a model of living for this so powerfully!?

We know that many of you have deeply understood the value and importance of this vision since the start. Many people around the world are ‘tapping into the same source,’ receiving the same radio frequency, and we know that at some point there will be enough movement for this kind of vision to take root and flourish all over the globe.
